The hardware is plated metal and is considered designer "style" costume jewelry. It should not turn your fingers green unless you wear it in water often or sweat excessively. Tip: To keep it from happening, brush clear polish on the inside of the band.
Will be wrapped well with bubble wrap and shipped in a bubble envelope for a safe transit.
